"As his very brief patient I Suggest the provider rereads the ethics, HIPPAA and not get his pathetic ego bruised by a patient who he refused to treat and followed through with breach of confidentiality speaking about his patient in the hallways and to my husband and driver before I had even been given the hippaa releases form. When confronted he chose to not run the protocols in place and albeit took him 12 hr to come up with some unqualified diagnosis he still put a psychiatric diagnosis without having had psychiatric consultation as he is not qualified to diagnose and further more instead of speaking to his patient he put me on a Baker act hold despite the fact my husband and my driver were in the room. Obviously the matter was resolved as I chose not to engage in his power trip (we spoke sum total of 4 min. I remained calm and accepted the observation stay against my husband’s rage and 24hrs later when real doctors were brought in and a full investigation of his medical practice behavior I was immediately discharged and I am safely in proper medical hands with the wonderful dr Dobson infectious diseases specialist who did elegantly and promptly take cultures of the scars that were reaction to a parasite he as I fear will be confirmed to be Leishmaniasis . Totally treatable so no big deal but 24hrs of my life in the pseudo care of this 8 yrs out of school ER md gets to commit me slander lie and break the law. I am on disability due to brain injury from being a physician far older then he. The staff away from that ER at Jupiter Medical Center has been bar none sublime. How very sad is the future of medecine if we put the bar this low. "
