"I was a new patient with a 10am appointment. I arrived 10 mins early, I was called back to have my vitals taken before my appointment and I wasn't in the room for 3 min before Dr Hunter came in. She introduced herself and thanked me for being there. I discussed my issues, had an examination , made a follow up appointment, had labs/ blood drawn and wells out the door all before 11am. Was so friendly, and efficient. I can only hope all my appointments can be so fluid and efficient. Never once did I feel like just another patient/chart or that I was being rushed. "

"I called to set a appointment (new patient) was told the appointments are set out till January, that’s fine, but then I was told that I will have a student doctor, once he/she graduates I will receive a new one. Every 3 years I will have a new doctor… No thanks. I wasn’t even asked if this is ok I was just told that this is how this works. All I could say was ok.. so yeah I was trying to see Dr Sonya."

I am an established patient and I cannot imagine having to go to someone different. My health has improved tremendously since I have been under his care. "I already told her that I am visiting for Routine Annual Checkup and want the only services that does get covered under that and no additional service which can charge to me. Even though when she prescribed a medicine for throat infection when I discussed for the throat issue, she did not informed me that she will be going to charge for that. If she told that she will be charging $150.00 for that Throat issue in addition of my Routine Checkup charge of $205.00, I would not ask to write or ask for Throat issue. When I discussed this matter in personal to her on a social occasion we met, that we got charged even though it was mentioned clearly that we were only for covered service on Routine Checkup, and she said you have to pay for that. I don't know why people have so much greediness to gather money and then trying to show that they are helping on local charitable health fair for an hour and then run away early or by coming late."

"Recently moved to Jax and needed my yearly check-up. First visit, I had a lot of question and she was able to recommend specialists for other things. I had one follow-up visit where she walked me through all the test results and clarified any questions I might have. Simple office, a little outdated, but felt like she was knowledgeable and friendly."
