Neurologists - Fort Myers, FL

"After having many tests run by my PCP due to months of lost feeling in my extremities (except ongoing numbness & tingling made ) I made an appointment with Dr. Driscoll who was very well regarded by local medical professionals. He exudes the personality of a wall, did a very limited neuro exam and ordered an MRI of my back which I promptly had done. The only remarkable item was a slight bulge in a disk which he dismissed and told me quote "It must all be in your head ". Perhaps but I don't need an MD to know I should be able to stab my leg and feel it, so for three years I sought out on my own to get a diagnosis, I saw countless practitioners of every specialty from acupuncture to neurosurgeon and spent over $6k. It took three years and a horrible exacerbation but my family physician was able to order the proper tests and get me diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. HMMM it apparently is all in my head, Dr. Driscoll- Neurologist. Interesting that I had already seen providers for my back, had that ruled out and yet although I'd shown classic MS symptoms he chose to ignore them. "

"I’ve been seeing Dr. Nagaraja for years and he does my treatment for my migraines. The staff and Doctor have always been really pleasant, warm, quick and punctual. "

"I made an appointment 3 months in advance, took a day off of work and paid a babysitter to be at my appointment. I showed up early to my appointment that was verified via phone, email etc and completed all forms before arriving. I was told my appointment was a different time (20 mins prior than my physical confirmation of time scheduled that I showed to the front desk staff). The employee at the front called the physician and said I arrived “late” for my appointment and I was told I would have to reschedule (when I in fact arrived early to my appt time and prepared for the appt). In explaining everything to the office manager and physically showing her my appointment confirmation from both the day in December the appointment was made and from one week prior to appointment they still told me they could not see me because they have a different time in their computer. As a health care provider myself I could not be more disgusted with this practice and office. They should be ashamed of the way they treat a patient who has done everything correctly to arrive and prepare for an appointment. I planned months in advance for this appointment and was made to feel as if I had done something wrong even when I had my confirmation emails in hand. I will strongly advise to never use this practice to anyone inquiring and will warn my friends and family who already do. Shameful."

"This dr could care less about his patient. Went in for pain after being referred to him by another physician. He didnt look up once from his computer to address my daughter while in his office except to take a safety pin out of a cup on his desk and poke her with it to see if it hurt. He wanted to do a brain scan and more blood work on her. The worst of it it is his office called us after waiting a month just to get an appointment with him. After finally getting in to see this dr he had no concern for a patient clearly in pain. He blew her off and walked out of the office leaving my daughter in the room until finally a member of his office staff came in to tell her the visit was over."
