"Dr. Piza was highly recommended as a surgeon. I am not able to rate his surgical skills but it seems my surgery was successful. The wait times in the office are typically quite long and the office staff are nice but not very well organized. If you need paperwork for your insurance company there is no organized routine to get it. You just have to keep asking. I have specified on several occasions that I do not tolerate Tylenol but I have been given prescriptions containing Tylenol three times. Dr, Piza does not spend a lot of time explaining what the recovery will be like or the best plan of action and does not seem particularly interested in what the physical therapists may be doing, or not doing. The post-op experience has been lackluster."

"Dr Bastianelli is an outstanding ENT in EVERY regard!!! Because of him, I healed from a problem with my left inner ear. Prior to coming to Dr. Bastianelli, I had visited 2 other ENT's, and experienced between both other ENT's a negative outcome with the actual treatment, and with both, excruciating pain as they worked inside my ear canal. It was excruciating pain that I expressed, that did not go over well, when I expressed the pain. The demeanor of 1 of them came across in response to me, as very cold and uncompassionate, as he continued to work inside my ear, and the other Dr. just aborted the treatment when I expressed my pain. By the time my wife encouraged me not to give up and go to yet another ENT, I was very anxious about going again, as a result of my previous experiences. But to my amazement...not only did Dr. Bastianelli take care of the problem, his technique was so flawless, that I felt nothing. I was stunned. My fear of experiencing pain resolved as I realized this Dr. was skilled in a way the others were not. His technique was gentle as he skillfully implemented an approach to the problem, with the utmost gentle technique, and most importantly, paired with a very a very kind and compassionate demeanor. I did not feel a thing. I was astounded. I love this Dr. and I am forever grateful for him. He is not only my ENT now, but my wife will be going to him also. Dr. Bastianelli, is in the category of THE BEST in every regard both medically speaking and bedside manner, characterized by the absolute warmest, most compassionate, and respectful, understanding demeanor.
