"I’m Deaf. At medical appts i normally take turns typing back and forth with doctor on my iPad. Went to this guy a couple years ago. This guy came in and had his assistant type with me instead of typing himself directly like most doctors usually do. They asked a few short questions and then he did an exam. Then he spoke to the assistant and before she finished typing he walked out of the room leaving her to show me what he said after he left. And that’s it the appt was over. Didn’t give me a chance to ask questions or have a discussion with him about my problem. Unfortunately i’ve experienced medical discrimination several times before because i’m Deaf but he was without a doubt the one of the most dismissive and rude doctors i’ve ever had an appt with. Would never go to him or that practice again and would highly recommend against him to anybody. "

"Dr. Miller was all business - quick and to the point. (I saw him to get a second opinion on my care.) Have your questions prepared. He has a good knowledge of current trends (in sleep medicine) going beyond the scope of traditional care which I found valuable. He was very direct about what kind of care you can expect from your insurance based on specific qualifiers they're looking for. He didn't really promote conversation but certainly answered every question I had. As I manage my own CPAP settings, he re-directed me on how I had set some of them up. If you're clear about what you're looking for and asking, he's great. "
