"Being an RN (17 years) and having other healthcare experience (25 years), I'm becoming increasingly disgusted by "doctors" like Dr. Gill. My daughter asked if I'd sit in on her appointment with her because she felt she wasn't being heard and had an incomplete assessment. I had legitimate questions and concerns as a mother and healthcare professional, and she took personal offense to them. I couldn't help but conclude that this "pill pusher" of a "doctor" is non caring, rude, manipulative, and incompetent. I dont care how long you've been in practice. She called me outside of my name and accused me of being "rude" and "abusive" because I questioned her reasoning and the "diagnosis" that would cause her to attempt to distribute medications. She refused to complete my daughter's appointment (I hope she didn't get paid for it). After reading the after visit notes, I'm livid because she lied about her "doctoring" during the appointment. Flat out, lied. It was an opposite contrast in the care previoualy received by my daughter's neuropsychologist who was thorough from the beginning of the assesment to the comprehensive review of all testing, reasoning, diagnosis, recommendation for further care, follow up,, the whole 9. As she bold enough to call me rude, I will, at this point, be exactly what she called me........and say, Dr Gill you are unfit to practice and you may as well be considered an incompetent, pill pushing, legal drug dealer, since (your words) "I just do the meds". Now you may call me rude and save your half apology (I'm sorry for how you feel)."
