Primary Care Doctors - Lone Tree, CO

"I'm a big fan of Dr. Knepshield, BUT ever since CU Medicine took over from Ridgeview Family Medicine, my bills seem very high. I have type 2 diabetes and HBP and should have preventative visits several times a year to make sure that my blood pressure and blood sugar are under control. However, I'm being charged nearly $300 per visit even though Dr. Knepshield is supposed to be within Network and my Aetna plan shows that within Network preventative care is supposed to be no charge. It's getting expensive to the point that I'm thinking of delaying visits or finding a different provider. This is why I'm giving Office and Staff only 2 stars. I'm happy with the nurses and other caregivers; it's the expensive billing I'm not happy about. "

"I have been a patient of Dr. Hepp's for years! I was referred to her by my Sleep Apnea doctor after 2 other doctors had canceled me as a patient because my case was too complicated following a severe motor vehicle accident. Dr. Hepp manages all of my care, including visits with specialists. I have also seen the PAs and other doctors in her office, and they are all excellent. I didn't give 5 stars for punctuality because sometimes she is a little late; however, its only because she takes the time with her patients to answer their questions. As for the negative review on pushing meds, I am on many meds, but primarily cardiac ones prescribed by my Cardiologist. For any meds that Dr. Hepp has put me on, she has first gone through the computer while I'm sitting there to double-check that there are no interactions with my current medication. I've never had a doctor do that before. "
