"I had Ryan as my primary care provider. Our Dr/patient relationship started out great but deteriorated over time. I travel frequently for work and found when I had questions and/or Rx refill requests, he defaulted to letting his MA's who were less than competent, manage that aspect. The crappy responses and mistakes were frequent, making our relationship quite tenuous. At the end and I terminated our relationship. IMO, the administrative staff is who runs the practice at Mathews-Vu, not the actual practitioners. "

"I have been a patient of Dr. Christopher Chong for a few years and a patient of Arthritis Associates since mid 1990’s. Dr. Chong is very good, knowledgeable and timely. He knows his subject matter and the options to consider. He is also very friendly and easy to get along with all the time. He does what he can to stay on time and is not normally far off his schedule. I previously saw a different Doctor in the office who retired. The office staff and professionals have always been impressive. "

"He described patients with hep-c as "coming out of the wood-work (like bugs)" since new meds became available. He said he had requested treatment for me from Medicaid and was awaiting approval for several months, and gave me blood tests to prove I was drug-free. After I passed the tests and waited a couple more months, after I called and asked and asked and asked if my meds were approved, he admitted he didn't even request them because I had stated I was a pot smoker in our initial interview, even after I proved I wasn't anymore, twice with blood work.
