Physiatrists - Woodland Hills, CA

"My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 am with Dr. Fok. I was checked in and told to sit in the lobby while I witnessed the receptionist bully a senior patient for not having a mask and being rude, very rude to another patient for not filling out some paperwork correctly. 40 minutes later I was escorted into an examination room and was informed that Dr. Fok wasn’t in the office yet but was expected soon. I was upset as I take great effort to be on time for my appointments. At 9:30 am I asked one of the nurses for an update and she didn’t know. I waited until 9:45 am and then left the examination room. I crossed paths with Dr. Fok as I was in the hallway and saw that he was carrying take out food. I asked him why he was late and he ignored me. I told him I was leaving and again he ignored me. I called the office manager and informed her that I had left and she tried to make me an appointment with another provider in the Rancho Mirage office where I had just left. I said no and she tried yo get me yo change my mind by telling me there were too many other complaints and it would affect other providers that hadn’t disappointed me. I again refused her request and drove home. It’s my opinion that this Dr. Fok and his front office staff aren’t worth the harm to my health with the way they disrespect their patients. "
