"I went to Bay Area Gynaecology and Oncology San Jose center as per my Gynaecologist referral. I chose Dr. Cici Liu as my doctor as I needed a hysterectomy after suffering from large uterine fibroids, severe cramps and heavy bleeding for months. Hysterectomy was the only option but I was very anxious about going for an invasive procedure. I'm so happy though that I got it done and I was treated by Dr. Liu. An extremely positive experience. In the very first visit, she listened to my long list of questions, answered all of them, provided me with various surgery options and their pros and cons. I then had a few more visits before the surgery and every time I went with more questions and she actively listened and helped every single time. I underwent abdominal total hysterectomy on 02/02 and it's been 10 days since. She spoke with me in detail about what to expect before and after surgery. The surgery went well, she spoke at length with my husband after the surgery (i was in recovery). I was up and walking by the evening of the surgery and doing the rounds in the hospital corridor by morning the next day. I was discharged the next day and my recovery has been really quick.
