"I just recently began working with Dr. Shapiro. Normally I don't write reviews but I wanted to just take a moment to share what a kind and professional person he is. I came to him in a vulnerable state and Dr. Shapiro showed a remarkable balance of being both professional and also human. I see that the majority of his reviews are very positive over a number of years but I also noticed one that stood out because it used some alarming words. Normally I would take a pass on a professional who had such terms used about them in even a single review but I decided to give Dr. Shapiro a chance because so many of the other reviews were completely different. I am glad I did. Again, I wouldn't normally write one but I thought I would offer my 2 cents. "

"Wanted money more than the health of my children... I am an alienated parent and she didn't even consider that. I haven't seen my children in one and a 1/2 years. Paid and bought by attorneys and by the system... Did nothing to reunify my children and I...Lied to me on the first day that I met her, then lead me into sessions and costs that that lead me no where. Acted like she was helping but didn't AT ALL!!! BE VERY GRATEFUL!!!"
