"I have never been treated with such lack of courtesy and professionalism by a medical provider. Dr. Grant treated me like I was unworthy of respect or medical attention. If you have a chalazion, Dr. Grant won’t try to help you because what he's basically saying is that he is tired of being referred patients with that issue when they should just have better hygiene. He just says “what do you want me to do?” Avoid him at all costs if you don't want a very unpleasant experience. I cried in the waiting area from how upset he made me and how helpless he made me feel."

"When I walked into Dr. Brenner’s office, I was told that I had a $250 copay. I showed the woman at the front desk my insurance ID card which states on the card that my copay is $50 but that my yearly eye exam is free. The woman at the front desk told me that since I hadn’t met my deductible, I had to pay $250. I told her that didn’t make any sense and that I would not be paying $250. I stepped outside and called my insurance company, Aetna, and explained the situation. My insurance company verified that my copay was $50 but that an eye exam would be of no charge. I went back inside Dr. Brenner’s office and handed the woman at the front desk my phone and told my insurance representative to explain what she had just told me to Dr. Brenner’s office. The two parties argued for several minutes and Dr. Brenner’s wife, Pamela, walked over and said to me, “Sweetie, this is the amount you need to pay.” I told Pamela what my name was and told her to call me by my name and explained to her that her collecting any other amount that what the insurance company says to collect is fraud. She said, “Honey, you haven’t met your deductible and this is our policy.” I again told her to call me by my name and said she cannot charge whatever amount she sees fit. I told her I would be filing a complaint through Aetna against her office for fraud and that I would be posting a review on every website I possibly can to warn others against their illegal practices. Pamela told me that she was refusing service to me, I explained to her that I was there to see Michael Brenner, not her, and that she wasn’t even a doctor so it wasn’t possible for her to provide me with any service at all. Avoid this doctor, his crazy wife and their illegal billing practices! "
