"I have to say that my last experience with Dr. Patel summed up everything I felt about him from the very first visit. The wait staff is very friendly and were consistent when reminding me of my appointments. They moved with a sense of urgency. They weren't sitting around texting on their phones or ignoring patients. Even when it was busy, they helped get patients through in a timely manner. All of that was eclipsed with Dr. Patel's unacceptable bedside manner. The man refused to make eye contact with me on all three of my visits. He would ask me irrelevant questions and thumb through papers as if he was looking for information relating to what I was there for. He would ramble on about past things that I've been seen for that had no bearing on my current visit. The nurses were much more accommodating and answered specific questions that needed an appropriate response. Dr. Patel declined to do as such. He merely made an appearance and left. My last visit infuriated me when he outright lied about why the office didn't have a specific type of treatment when I had just received the treatment several weeks prior to my visit. He said if I didn't like his answer, I could go somewhere else. The response was completely out of line not only because he didn't care about treating me properly, but also because he lied about the previous treatment i had been receiving at his office. I walked out. I felt he didn't want anything to do with me in the first place because of my ethnicity or my sexual orientation. I never accuse people of prejudice, but this was an isolated feeling that hit me in the gut. And no doctor should ever make you feel that way. "
