Dermatologists - Fresno, CA

"RUN! I had a worse experience with Dr. Limova and her team than with any other Dr I've seen in the past. First, Dr. Limova does not respect your time. If you insist on seeing her, only accept the first appointment of the day and plan to sit in the waiting room about 45 mins to an hour. Second, she is condescending and judgemental. She brings in several people for each appointment, does not introduce them and proceeds to shame you in front of them. She doesn't listen to your concerns and jumps right into suggested treatment without discussing your preferences. I don't think she even reads your chart in advance because she kept saying my dark spots were due to a pregnancy (I have never been pregnant). Not a safe space at all. But my biggest problem with her is the financial aspect. She wastes your money by the sheer number of appointments she expects (monthly at a minimum). She will not address issues in the same appointment. She uses 1 appointment to diagnose and a separate appointment to act (i.e. burn off questionable spots), that way she can bill for double the appointments. Now that I have gone elsewhere, I understand how absurd this is. She never did a full body scan to establish a baseline. I was supposed to go in every month and we would inspect a different section of my body. Additionally, she overbilled and lied about billing costs: I had a spot biopsied and when they called to share the results (a Friday), I missed the call. I called back immediately but their office was closed and not taking calls due to lunch (something they could've shared in the voicemail). I called after lunch and she had already left for the day. I was in panic mode since I didn't want to wait the entire weekend to learn that I potentially had cancerous cells. They scheduled a call for the next week and I pointedly asked if there would be a bill for the call (aka was this a telehealth call or just to share results). They told me I would not be billed. Well surprise, surprise, Dr. Limova blew off our initially scheduled call. We were able to connect a couple days later. I have not only been billed for a telehealth appointment when I was told otherwise, I was billed for 2 telehealth appointments, including the one Dr. Limova blew off. Please save yourself so much unnecessary frustration and disappointment and look elsewhere for a dermatologist."

"I took my daughter here for a year and only saw the Nurse Practitioner. She was ok. Last time we saw the doctor, not sure why, no one explained. No bedside manor. Didn't even look closely at my daughter's face (she has acne). Sat in chair next to me the whole time. I thought he was rude and unpleasant. Won't be going back."
