"I arrived as a new patient and was asked to sign a mandatory arbitration agreement before I could see the doctor. I've never been asked to sign this in a medical setting and it felt sketchy and coercive. I told the receptionist that I didn't feel comfortable signing the form and she said that the doctor would not see me until I did. Since I was in a lot of pain and had already taken off work, I decided to go ahead and sign it. This experience made it hard for me to trust the doctor. After an hour and a half, I left with an over the counter shoe insert and a request to come back 3 times a week for therapy. Perhaps this is standard but it felt excessive. I'll be starting the whole process over with a new doctor. "
