"I've been going to Dr Bark for 20 years. I actually look forward to the annual appointment. I have no doubt that he is a top expert in his field, and he is also a really likable guy. Caring and with a sense of humor. The office runs like a swiss watch. And if it makes sense, he will even suggest that you try out different contact lenses to see if they suit you, no extra charge. I will be sad if he retires before I kick the bucket. Brian B."

"My husband & I have been patients for years. I was supposed to be seen for a 6 month f/u appt on 1/13/25. That appt never happened because I was turned away. This is my 3rd year of having Aetna, but the office claims they haven't accepted Aetna for years. My choices were either find a new doctor or pay out of pocket and have zero coverage. As it turns out, I was correct and the office was wrong - they have been and currently still are accepting Aetna. I had Aetna call to speak with the staff who again claimed they have not and do not accept Aetna. They were again advised that they are providers and have a current & valid contract with Aetna, which includes my specific plan. Jennifer Koster, O.D. called me this morning to say that she has no idea how this happened, but she does currently have a contract with Aetna but does not want to fulfill that contract or see Aetna patients. If I wanted to be seen, I would have to pay her as if I have no medical insurance even though I do and even though she is in network and an Aetna provider. Last I've heard, that's unethical and in breach of contract. My husband and I will not be returning and I will f/u with Aetna on my conversation today with Jennifer Koster, O.D."
