"Dr. Karami is truly a gift from God to us. My husband has had several mental health issues and Dr. Karami diagnosed them accurately (even though my husband and I were in denial at first). He has been seeing Dr. K for over 4 years, and it has been exactly what my husband needed. His office staff changed but Dr. K has found a wonderful support staff who is on top of appointments. We rarely have to wait more than a few minutes (what Dr does that these days?) and Dr. K will often call between appointments to see how my husband is doing. He will also research if I ask detailed questions about symptoms or medications and report back with detailed information. He is truly in "right livelihood". I wish all doctors cared about their patients as much."

"This is the strangest doctor experience I've ever had. I have ADHD and was looking for someone to simply see me and do the prescription maintenance. He didn't have a staff but just came out after you wait by your self and he lets you in. Well, he received the nickname "Dr. Cash" from my family as he seems to want to more work off of the network and only takes cash. He seems to be more driven by monetary reasons then to help people. It sure is odd when you pay him in cash and he take the time to get out his little box of small bills and coins and give you change, right down to the penny (and he takes the small coins out of a bag and hands them over, in an odd fashion). Anyway, his bedside manner is sorely lacking and I don't care for him as a person, but perhaps he's good to some as he's still in business! I initially put him at 1 Star, but maybe I'm just used to more personal doctors so I don't want to be too harsh, so I'll double it to a 2 star rating. Bottom line, you can find better out there."

"If I could give her zero stars I would. In my experience of 5 visits with her, she is mean, cold, and totally lacking in empathy. I have a friend who sees her, so I thought I would give her a try, as I just moved here and don't have many people to give me word of mouth on any doctors. After going to her, my freind and I both agree that we cringe at the thought of another exchange with her. Neither of us sleep the night before. She is controlling and labels and lies, at least to this consumer. I am moving to another doctor, and she agreed to, and is ethically obligated to refill my prescription until I meet with him on 11/4. I have run out of medication and am in danger of going into withdrawal, but it will be 48 hours without medication tomorrow morning, and on their voicemail they ask consumers to allow 72 BUSINESS HOURS to attend to prescription refill requests. That is 9 DAYS, NOT COUNTING WEEKENDS! And she doesn't work Fridays so that exacerbates requests even more. Because she reduced my dose on my first visit, I have struggled to get used to this at a time when I have an incredibly high number on the stress scale, plus we all have heavy Covid anxiety on top of everything else. I have failed every month to meet her medication quota she assigned me, and have to ask for some "cover over" meds each month. I taught counseling psychology to graduate students for 25 years, and also had a specialty in addiction. I directed 3 graduate programs in addiction alone, so I know just by talking to her, that she has a mindset that is years and years obsolete, and the research bears this out. There is marked difference between dependence and addiction. She LABELED ME as addicted, which told me immediately that she interpets information though a stereotypical and dogmatic lens. I guess she thinks most people are addicts because they have been on a benzodiazapine for a length of time. Yes, I would have to wean off this medication, (dependence) but I do not take it recreationally or seek more and different drugs. I have been on the same dose for a long time, and it has helped me. I supervised hundreds of graduate students in mental health, rehabilitation, and addiction therapy, and if she were supervising one of my students I would immediately pull them out and placed them at another internship site. If you value your self worth, and respect from a medical professional, DO NOT see her. It takes a lot to steam me up this much! "
