"After extensively researching for GI doctors and reading reviews and recommendations. Dr. Meline seemed to stand out above the rest but the caring, top notch doctor that the reviews raved about was not what showed up to my appointment. From the moment he logged on to our call, he came off as cold and unapproachable and more interested in showcasing his credentials than in listening to my concerns. First let me start with a positive, the scheduler and the MA, Ella, are incredibly sweet. My appointment was a video visit, as that what his scheduler says he does for the first visit. When he logged into our video visit, I could already tell that it was not going to go well. He had a cold and aloofness about him and was more interested in looking at another screen off to the side than engaging with me. His session was spitfire questions of more yes and no answers and when I would try to answer a question and explain my symptoms, he would talk over me, cut me off and go onto to another question. It felt that I was an inconvenience to him than rather getting to know what was going on and felt he had already decided I wasn't a worthy patient when he said he didn't think he would be of much help and wouldn't find the source of my pain, but he would scope me either way. I felt more like an obligation than a patient. If you're looking for a doctor who will genuinely listen and empathize, I would recommend looking elsewhere. "
