Cardiologists - Phoenix, AZ

"This review is for the overall practice & not necessarily Dr. Ivanovic. Prior to approx. a year ago, I felt like I was getting proper care and communication but that has ceased. The office staff is unresponsive, rude and incompetent. Phone calls go to a voice mailbox & it is impossible to speak to someone at the time of calling. I have been shuffled to 4 different Dr.'s over the past year due to Retirement of 2. One of them cancelled my appointment 3X's, delaying my visit 3 months. I made the latest appointment at the Corporate location on Bell Rd. where I usually see my Dr. and upon arrival, I was told that I had no appointment there but at another location. I was upset at, yet another issue, and the front desk staff was of no help or empathized with my situation. I saw Dr. Ivanovic who was fine, not knowing me at all, but when suggesting he refill a RX for my high BP, it was not called in for two days and when it was, a RX was called into the wrong pharmacy altogether and for a medication that I have never taken and was not discussed. This was a blatant error on their part as was the booking of the appointment location. When calling the third day I resorted to speak to Scheduling about the RX error. Then I was put on hold for at least 30 minutes when the rep came back and said she could not reach anyone about that. I then asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager does not have a phone. I finally got the correct RX at the correct pharmacy but patients should not have to undergo this type of treatment. What if I started to take that medication and not questioned it? I could have done myself real harm. Not sure how you can run a medical office with this kind of service. I am seeking a new cardiologist. "
