My daughter started seeing this woman at age 10 for pain and other symptoms that mimicked an auto-immune disease. Our first visit, she told my daughter that she could tell that she was very lazy. Mind you, we're African American. This was very insulting. We saw her for almost three years. She didn't find anything wrong and told us that she was going to schedule a one year appointment and to contact her in the interim if she had any issues. As if we hadn't been complaining about her having issues for almost three years. I even kept a diary as she suggested and brought it to the last visit. Fast forward, within a year I made an appointment with Dr. Leslie Hornick. In the first visit she was able to exam her knees and ankles and tell that she had JA. She did labs ro conclude her DX. For three years she suffered extreme depression because of her pain and no one believed her or helped her. She didn't participate in sports and became withdrawn and depressed. This woman is a quack Dr. I'm so sad that my baby had to suffer. She's going on 14 years old and living a better life. Avoid this woman at all cost!
