"I have had fungal sinusitis since December 2017. Charlotte ENTs consider it to be a rare disease unlike the rest of the country. It is very different from the bacterial/viral sinusitis and a doctor with knowledge + experience could save your life. I have been treating myself and decided to have some tests run through LabCorp to check other diseases associated and one of them was Lyme. I knew nothing about it or the controversy that occurred in Charlotte s few years back. When my test came back positive, I immediately checked online for Charlotte \r doctors that treated Lyme disease. Catherine Louise Passaretti is listed as one of them. I assume that she has given DOCSPOT that information or has control of it being removed if not true. \r I called her office and left a detailed message about my positive test and the need for \r immediate trearment, according to the CDC.\r No one bothered to return my call.\r Later I heard about the controversy and that local doctors are supposed to deny the reality of the disease if they want to be accepted by other local doctors.\r Fine, but they need to remove Lab Tests for Lyme from every lab in the country!\r I am amazed that a doctor would be so fearful that she would refuse to return a phone call from a person with a diagnosed disease that she is listed as treating.\r I would welcome contact by anyone concerned to discuss this matter. As it stands, I am not \r able to get the immediate required minimum treatment as recommended by the CDC, which puts me at risk of more serious consequences. All a result of doctors who are more than willing to "do harm" because they value ignorance over evidence, if it maintains their facade. \r \r \r "
